Traditional barbecue charcoal is mostly machine-made charcoal, which is used to shape sawdust raw materials first and then carbonize them. Semi-charcoal powder shaped charcoal is the opposite. The raw materials are first carbonized and then shaped. By adding charcoal powder adhesive, it is squeezed into various shapes of artificial charcoal varieties by machine.
The abundant semi-charcoal powder is very similar to charcoal powder in terms of specific gravity, activity, etc., and has many of the same characteristics. Therefore, the use of low-priced semi-charcoal powder, adding a certain amount of traditional adhesive and water, and drying or naturally drying after cold pressing to make barbecue charcoal, not only reduces the cost, but also makes the semi-charcoal powder recycled and increases the output.
Advantages and disadvantages of the two
Semi-charcoal powder shaped charcoal has less investment, while traditional machine-made charcoal requires a full set of equipment such as drying, shaping, and carbonization, which requires a large investment. The main equipment for shaped charcoal is a crusher shaping machine, which requires very little investment; second, the technical difficulty is much lower than that of traditional machine-made charcoal, and the technology can be mastered in a short time; third, compared with traditional machine-made charcoal, there is no smoke emission in the entire production process, which greatly solves the environmental pollution problem of charcoal production.
